*halloween.night.

I'm not much of the Halloween type, it's not my favorite time of year...but there is one Halloween night I will never forget. Our class gathered together for a costume party and scavenger hunt at Hayden's house when we were in 8th grade. Bailey and I were dressed up as *spa girls, with hot pink robes and "avocado masks" on our faces. The fun all began thou when we went our seperate ways for the scavenger hunt. [Mrs. Hill] was our driver...and all I remember was Brady gulping down a d.p. and trying to burp as loud as he could. Our group made it back to Hayden's house first and -won- ...only after Mrs. Hill almost killed us by taking all the back roads and missing the turns. We sure had fun thou!!*

[[forgiving]]

"Not forgiving someone is like drinking the poison and waiting for the other man to die."
I totally agree with this statement. By choosing not to forgive someone we are only hurting ourselves. Like the statement above, not forgiving someone is like poison to our body. We tend to want the other person to hurt. Stalling forgiveness only eats us up from the inside out, like poison. This statement reminds me of Colossians 3:13. It says, "...forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others." If someone hurts you, you are commanded by God to forgive them instantly, but you are not expected to trust them immediately. They must prove themselves first, and earn your trust back. Trust has to do with future behavior, while forgiveness has to do with letting go of the past. Forgiveness, therefore, must be immediate, whether or not a person asks for it. But...trust must be rebuilt over time.*

-wealthy and ugly? or poor and beautiful?-

If I had to choose between being wealthy and ugly or poor and beautiful, I would definitely pick poor and beautiful. I believe true beauty comes from within, and that being wealthy does not determine how beautiful you are. Knowing that your beauty comes from the inside will make you carry yourself with more confidence and will allow you to shine*. This will also allow you to show your true self. Qualities like these can not be bought with money.
