[cloning?]

To clone? Or not to clone?
I agree...cloning scares me too. I do however think that the 'thought' of being able to clone something is pretty neat. And yeah, it kind of amazes me. But I believe that it is totally wrong. To me, cloning an animal or a human being is like cheating. God created life, and He should be the ONLY one to get to do so.*

hot-dog-day.

If I had the chance to create my own holiday...I would most definately create Hot Dog Day. Hot Dog Day* would be the first Monday of every month and school would be let out in rememberance of this day. To celebrate this glorious day --> people all around the world would fix hot dogs and set out all the "fixins." Hot Dog Day* would also require going to baseball games, watching movies, and having cook-outs!!

A litte weird, but I'm currently re-watching The Bachelor...and Jason just sent home THE best girl ever!! :(
So...Hot Dog Day is in honor of Jillian!! lol...

--a million 2 much.

-Brett Favre
Less than a year after announcing his retirement from football, Brett Favre is retiring yet again.*
We all have to stop and wonder if he came back in the first place for the love of football...or for the millions.
I agree that Favre IS getting old and we should let the man do what he wishes...
But he still should've followed his first instincts and called it quits in 2008.

-"A-ROID"
On Sunday, Major League Baseball's highest paid player was annou
nced to have tested positive for steroids in 2003. 2003 was the same year that Alex won the American League Most Valuable Player award as a shortstop for the Texas Rangers. But after this big news break, it makes me wonder if he achieved that award with his own natural talent...or if he won the award by taking steroids. A-Rod even lied to the feds about his situation, which leads everyone to believe that he feels he's not good enough to play the game and make the money he's making without having "help." The bottom line is this: the guy gets paid by the [millions], and if he's not good enough to play without using steroids, then he shouldn't be playing in the first place.

//oops//

This past week, 23 year old Michael Phelps admitted to "regrettable behavior" at a November party at the University of South Carolina. Photographs show that the record-holder Olympic swimmer was caught smoking marijuana. Even though he is considered to be a [role-model], I believe that Phelps should pay the consequences of his decisions just like any normal citizen would have to do. Yes, I agree that nobody is perfect, and Phelps agrees that too, but he should not use this as a reason for doing something he knows is wrong.
