-->2 million babyy.

Mexican authorities have offered rewards of up to two million dollars for any info leading to the drug cartels in Mexico. Sounds to me like they're in a big mess. I'm afraid that because the dollar amount is so big, people will do anything and turn in anybody just to get their reward. This could mean workers of the drug leaders could be unloyal and turn their boss in. Wouldn't be very pretty if the "boss" found out about this...* The entire situation is just a mess anyway, but I'm afraid that with the Mexican officials issuing this new reward, things could get just a little more out-of-hand.

{myspringbreak}

For my amazing spring break, I traveled to Houston, Texas to visit family and go shopping, and I also went to Austin to see my grandfather fly in an extremely old B-24 bomber that he flew in World War II.

**drug.cartels.**

In my opinion, the drug situation in Mexico is a {big deal}. Basically, two familes are at "war" over who should own the rights to supply the United States with drugs. Some people might blame the U.S. for this problem, but I think you should look directly at the source. This war will never end if you can't get ahold of the main problem, the main source. Thousands upon thousands of people have been murdered, raped, and tortured because of the drug cartels...and thousands upon thousands of people still will if they don't find a way to control this issue. Drugs will continue to take over cities, and even countries, if we don't put an end to this. Yeah, this is a big deal!

"america's education"

I am totally against year-round school, which is exactly what our new Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, is trying to set in stone. He believes that sending us to school year-round will lower the drop-out rates, and improve the "competitive disadvantage" that some people think we have with India and China. Sending kids to school for the entire year won't necessarily make them smarter. I don't quite understand how the man has come up with this plan...but honestly, sending us to school for a longer period of time will more than likely increase the drop-out rates. Actually, in a lot of cases, kids drop out of school for reasons that the school has no control over...maybe Mr. Duncan should look into fixing those problems first.*
